Now I see why there's so much art of Ariel! Her hair is so awesome to draw.
Anyway, she's been one of my favorite Disney Princesses/girls for a long long long time. She's so dedicated to her goal.
Don't make fun of me, but I always get chills when she sells her voice for legs. With all the dramatic music and vocalization going on in that scene (not to mention the amazing visual artistry), it has so much emotion and scary faces.
I was rearranging the Disney Princess section at work yesterday morning, and I finally got enough inspiration to draw the next princess. The underlight is that aqua color because when she's wearing that dress (the one she's wearing at the very end when she gets legs from her daddy), she's standing in the water. I figured it should have some sort of reflecting.
Also, thanks to ~FiniteLuv for requesting Ariel and her silvery dress!
